Beta Testing of Phi Testnet

The Phi is the first social metaverse focused on “on-chain Identity” created using ENS domains and proven wallet activity. It encourages users to interact with various Web3 protocols, which in turn provides positive feedback to the entire crypto ecosystem.

Section I of III: Preparing Wallet

Step 1: Adding Goerli Testnet and Getting Test ETH: See this article

Step 2: Adding Polygon Mumbai Testnet: Visit this site and connect wallet.

Step 3: Now click on “Add to Metamask” → Approve in wallet and Testnet will automatically be added.

Step 3: Claim Test MATIC: Visit this site → Enter wallet address → Click on “Submit” → click on “Confirm”. You will receive the test tokens.

Section II of III: Beta Testing

Step 1: Getting ENS Domain:

(1). Visit this site → Switch network to Goerli Testnet in your wallet → Click “Go to app”

(2). Connect your wallet and then search domain name of your choice.

(3). Now decide the duration of registration, click on “Request to Register”, approve the necessary transactions, wait & complete all three steps.

(4). After purchase, click on “Set As Primary ENS Name”, this step is important. Approve the necessary transactions.

(5). Then click the dropdown button and select your domain name and click “save”.

Step 2: Phi Testnet:

(1). Visit this site, switch to Mumbai Testnet in your wallet and then, connect your wallet.

(2). Select your ENS domain from dropdown, click on “Create Land” and the, approve the transactions.

(3). Click on “Quest” → “Claim” as much as objects possible and the, approve the transactions in your wallet.

(4). Click on “Shop”, Add items you want by clicking on “Add to Cart”, Click on “Purchase” and then, approve the transactions.

(5). Click on wallet, Deposit the objects and then approve the trasactions.

(6). Click on “Edit”

(7). The object that you can place will be visible to you, just click on the and place it on your land.

(8). You can add link to your object, by just clicking on it.

(9). When editing is over, then click on “Save” button and approve the necessary transactions.

Step 3: Now share your land on Twitter. For this simply click on share button and tweet the already formatted tweet.

Step 4. Fill this Google Form.

Section III of III: Feedback

It is suggested to share your land & feedback on Phi Testnet Discord, my feedbacks are as follows:

1. Clear & clear UI.
2. Object rotation and resizing option.
3. Make it more user friendly, may include some templates
4. Land color may also change with Dark/Light toggle
5. Even in Testnet, it is better to add social media links and whitepaper/documentation link at the bottom right corner, it will increase the brand awareness among the users.
6. A referral option with rewards can be added.
