How to join the Omni Network airdrop and TestNet
Omni Network is a layer 1 blockchain that aims to connect all rollups and enable fast, cheap, and scalable transactions. Now they have launched V2 of Omni Overdrive, their testnet that supports EVM-compatible smart contracts and NFTs.
In this tutorial, I will show you how to join the Omni Network airdrop and testnet, where you can get free test tokens, mint NFTs, and try out their innovative features. You will also have a chance to earn XP points and rewards for completing missions.
Steps
Step1: Follow Omni Network on Twitter and join their Discord for the latest updates and announcements.
Step2: Add the Omni Overdrive Testnet to your wallet by following these network details:
- Network name: Omni Overdrive Testnet
- RPC URL: https://testnet.omni.network
- Chain ID: 165
- Currency symbol: OMNI
- Block explorer URL: https://testnet.explorer.omni.network
Step3: Go to Galxe, perform simple tasks and get your OAT
Step4: Get testnet tokens from the faucet — https://faucet.omni.network
Step5: Go to the Collar Rollup Portal, a website that allows you to request prices for any asset on the Omni Overdrive Testnet. Connect your wallet and click on “Request Price” to initiate a price update.
Step6: Go to Collar Alpha, a website that allows you to create and manage your own vaults on the Omni Overdrive Testnet. A vault is a smart contract that lets you borrow stablecoins against your collateral. Connect your wallet, Check and Finalise Your Deal Check Your Vault
Step7: Now again go to Galxe, do the tasks and mint an NFT
Step8: To earn XP points and rewards for testing the Omni Overdrive Testnet, go to the Omni Missions website. Connect your wallet and complete various missions, such as creating a vault, requesting a price, or minting an NFT. You will see your XP balance and rank on the leaderboard.
